This fiber-based stabilizer is used for needle-turn appliqué.
The 8.5 x 11 inch precut sheets can be printed in your home office printer, or you can trace your applique pattern on them. Then, simply cut out your piece, position it on your fabric and press in place with an iron. Cut your appliqué piece out leaving a 1/4 inch border, turn and glue the edge, and stitch in place. Once completed, wash your quilt; this will make half of the fibers dissipate, and the remaining half will create a slight loft under your appliqué piece.
