The HORIZON Memory Craft 9480 QC PROFESSIONAL is compatible with the A.S.R.® (Accurate Stitch Regulator) . Janome Accurate Stitch Regulator System includes four feet: closed-toe, open-toe, clear view, and the exclusive ruler work foot so that all of your free-motion needs are covered. With the added benefit of being able to set the sensitivity of the sensor; you can adjust the regulation as your skills build.
Large Workspace

Available on the HORIZON Memory Craft 9480 QC PROFESSIONAL, floating mode adjusts the presser foot pressure and height without affecting tension. This is especially useful when sewing delicate and tricky fabrics which tend to shift.
The presser foot lift on the machine automatically lifts the presser foot after a thread cut. This feature can be set to raise at the end of any seam, with the needle in the down position for easy pivoting.

Threading could not be easier. Set your thread, push the lever, release, and sew. The Superior Needle Threader 2’s advanced design feeds the thread through the eye of the needle.
The retractable sewing light and nine bright LED lamps are everything you need for a shadow-free workspace. The retractable sewing light pulls out to give direct light in the needle area, and the nine LEDs illuminate the bed area.
Use mirage stitches to add an interesting design element to your project. These unique stitches offer a satin look in a variety of shapes with spaces between each motif, making the stitches appear to float on the fabric! Janome mirage stitches are infinitely customizable with separate tension and stitch length settings for both the hidden connecting jump stitches and the main satin stitch. This effect can be used on either one or two pieces of fabric.
The one step plate converter allows for no screws or tools. Simply push the lever to release the plate and snap a new one in place.
