Description
Arcadia is the newest Quiltworx Technique of the Month to be published in January 2027. This stunningly beautiful foundation paper pieced quilt is available in both Wall size (68 x 68) or Queen size (99x99). It will teach you straight piecing, curved piecing, curved strip piecing, floating points, "veins" and applique' (if desired). There are so many options to choose from! Unfortunately, this is not a quilt for Quiltworx beginners.
The supply list is as follows:
Pattern and fabric
Rotary cutter and mat
50 wt thread to match your fabric- I use gray whenever possible
70/10 Microtex needles
Pins, seam ripper, thread snips
Add-a-quarter ruler (either 12” or 18”)
Add-an-eighth ruler
cutting rulers of your choice (my favorites: 3 1/2 x 18", 8 1/2 x 24")
Curved Diamond Ruler by Quiltworx
Washable fabric glue stick
Repositionable glue stick
Iron and ironing surface
Acorn fabric treatment pen and refill (optional)
Working sewing machine with open toe foot and ¼” foot (bring your manual with you if you are unfamiliar with your machine)
Large paper clips and scotch tape
Light box (optional)
35 Large zippered plastic bags (gallon size works best)
Stiletto and/or Purple Thang
If using applique' on your colorway: 100 wt thread to match fabrics or mono-poly invisible thread
