It is recommended to prewash your fabrics and garments without fabric softeners to achieve the best bond of interfacing to fabric. Interfacings do not need to be prewashed.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e2. Cut interfacings according to pattern instructions.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e3. Preheat your iron to a medium or wool setting with NO STEAM.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e4. Place the rough side – or glue side – on the back side or wrong side of the materials to be fused.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e5. Cover with a light, dry pressing cloth. Press and hold the iron in place with medium pressure for 8-10 seconds. Repeat by lifting the iron and placing in the next area, slightly overlapping the first until the entire surface is bonded.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e6.
