Certified Quiltworx Instructor Tammy Gardner is coming all the way from Michigan to teach our 3-day Silver Shores Workshop! We had the pleasure of learning from Tammy at last year's Quiltworx University in Shipshewana, Indiana and we loved her so much we are bringing her here!!
You will be making a 68" square quilt using the Silver Shores pattern by Judy Niemeyer of Quiltworx.com. You will learn the basics of preparing and organizing your fabrics, paper piecing, and several other techniques, in order to complete your quilt top. This is a fun pattern to make, with several different techniques to learn! Basic quilt piecing skills are required and will not be taught. Quilting and binding will be at your discretion.
Silver Shores Pattern (including foundation papers) daily lunch and snacks are included in the workshop!
Sweet Home Quilting will also have several Quilt Kit options see below for a preview.
These kits will come pre-cut into strips and labeled so you will be ready to go on day one of the workshop!!

| Requirements: | We suggest purchasing a Sweet Home Quilting Exclusive quilt kit that will be pre-cut into strips and labeled for you for this workshop. As an alternative, the Sweet Home Quilting staff can help to guide you in selecting the fabrics of your choice from the shop to ensure that you have the correct amounts. |

| Instructor Bio: | A little about me: I began quilt making in 1989 as a way to continue my great-grandmother's legacy. I am a lover of puzzles and math which peaked my interest in it as I began my journey. Quilt making obviously became my hobby of choice, and at times a source of income- longarm quilting for customers for many years. In 2007 I made my first Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx quilt, 'Which Ways North'. The accuracy, precision, and beauty, of Quiltworx patterns quickly made them my favorites. I have been leading a paper-piecing club since 2013 at a local quilt shop, and have taught other quilt classes and made numerous guild presentations over the years. I love to share the process of paper-piecing, and I really love seeing the success of my students as they complete their very own Quiltworx projects and quilts! |
