Skill Details:
Instructor: Linda Snellgrove
Instructor Bio: I started ?sewing? when I was a young child, making Barbie clothes out of my mother?s scraps. My sister and I would fold the fabric and tie it on with another strip of fabric and ?Viola!?, we had a dress! I actually learned how to use the sewing machine in 7th grade Home Ec (remember that?). I passed and went on to bigger and better things-making my own clothes and throw pillows. I made several of my bridesmaids dresses but not my wedding dress (that came from store). After the children started coming along, I sewed for them until they got too old for mom?s home-made clothing (Heirloom clothing should never be considered home-made) and turned to quilting. I had to have a creative outlet somewhere. I made my first quilt in 2007, my first Quiltworx quilt in 2015 and I was hooked! If I counted right, I have made 11 Quitlworx quilts.
