Cobblestones with Barbara Black

Based on an antique quilt that is saved almost daily on Barbara's Pinterest board, she just knew that she needed to make it for a class.
Intended for the Confident Beginner, this project will test your accuracy skills. Learn Freezer Paper piecing and how to “oversize and custom cut”. Tips and tricks for all aspects of quilt making will be taught. Make it as large or small as you like.

 Class Fee: $50 includes your handout and a full day of instruction!! This is a discount price for this first-time offering.

Skill Details: Confident Beginner
Requirements: FABRICS: 41" x 50" 25 6" blocks Background: 2 yards Red: 1/3 yard Blue: 1/3 yard Neutrals, like tan and grey: 1/3 yard each. For a bright punch consider Yellow for one fabric. SUPPLIES: Sewing machine, extension cord, foot control and power cord Neutral thread for piecing, beige or grey is best Pins Scissors for Fabric and Thread Stitch Ripper Paper and Pencil Rotary Cutter: make sure blade is sharp Rotary Cutting Mat: 18" x 24" Rotary Cutting rulers: 6 1/2" x 12" or 24" AND 6.5" Square Ruler, AND Half Square Triangle Ruler, Creative Grids Brand Recommended Supplies are available for purchase as well.
